"Wine in a can" makes it simple to bring a glass of wine on the go. Avoid the hassle of wineglasses, opener and fragile bottle. This is a small convenient packaging totally made from aluminum, from which you drink like a glass. The cans are recycled in the same way as conventional aluminum cans. The contour line give associations to the wine bottle and create good opportunities. Through a restrained color scheme with matte black as the base color and the color of the wine as accents, a feeling of exclusivity which gives the wine justice, is created.

Designed by Jaren Goh of Singapore, and winner of the 2006 Red Dot Award.

The RollerToaster is pretty self explanatory: stick the bread in one side, and watched it get rolled into toast by the compact little unit.

The IBM Magic Block is a portable recording device that stores nonstop sound throughout the day, making these recordings the user’s private digital sound diary.

The digital diary is easily searchable thanks to IBM voice-recognition search technology, which works like a Web search engine for sound. The user can effortlessly search for a keyword, a specific time range (to play back a meeting or school class) or a particular person’s voice (the software can recognize pre-associated names with voice and then play back the parts when that person is talking).

To secure data privacy, the user accesses the Magic Block through a seamlessly embedded fingerprint-recognition reader. The Magic Block closes and opens in a clever way: avoiding accidental input when closed, physically indicating it is ready for use when open.

This is another gadget for secret agents, a scanner disguised as a pen, the DocuPen.

The Planon DocuPen RC800 is a pen scanner with a difference, instead of having the scanning camera at the tip of the pen, the DocuPen has an electronic eye down the length of the pen. This means instead of scanning a block of text a line at a time you can scan an entire page in just one sweep.

The specs of the DocuPen are pretty sweet being able to do full color scans at up to 400DPI. Images are stored on the scanners internal 8MB (I never knew that size still existed) flash memory card, though this is fortunately upgradable to 1GB. So when you’re on a secret mission, you can whip out your DocuPen, scan that the enemies blue prints and wait until back at base before uploading to your PC.

The Wireless Bullet Camera is a wireless camera, with a highly sensitive microphone as well for audio.

The tiny camera has a built in 2.4 GHz transmitter which almost makes you wonder where they fit all the video and audio hardware! The receiver can receive data from the transmitter up to 25m away, or 50m outdoors! The included receiver comes with all the equipment you need to hook it up to a television or monitor at a safe distance to avoid detection. There are provided adapters for both the camera and the receiver, however the camera can just as easily be powered by a 9V battery.

With such tiny equipment you still get quite decent quality. The video camera records 356,000 pixels which is roughly half of the pixels displayed on a standard 1024×768 resolution monitor, while the microphone can capture audio from across rooms of most sizes.
